I'm leaning towards keeping Jake Odorizzi, but I also have Drew Hutchison and Joaquin Benoit as options. I have to keep at least one pitcher, so those are my best options.

12 team H2H points. Right now, BM projections have Odorizzi at 335.76 points, Hutchison at 378.12 points, and Joaquin Benoit at 391.30 points. I'm a likely top contender this year, so I'm not really concerned with beyond 2015. Can't say I agree with the disparity between Odorizzi and Hutchison, so I'm curious what others think.

Scoring settings are below:

BSBlown Saves-3 points
CGComplete Games3 points
EREarned Runs-2 points
HAHits Allowed-1 point
HBHit Batsmen-1 point

KStrikeouts (Pitcher)0.5 points

NHNo-Hitters5 points

As you mentioned, Benoit is the highest rank.  Which of your leagues is this?

It's my "CBS League".

Benoit looks like the steadiest of the options (less up/downside). Those other guys could cause more damage, and if you're already a good team, I'd go with the safer option.  It sounds like you're expecting both the SPs to exceed their projections, or do you think Benoit is overrated?

I think I have a natural inclination to never keep a closer, unless it were a Chapman-type. It makes sense though. I really only care about who will be the best in 2015, so Benoit makes sense.

He's a good ERA/WHIP closer plus San Diego is expect to win a few more this year.
