Question about replacement level players

I just noticed the check-box to add replacement level players on the projections page.

First of all - awesome idea, perfect for roto players thanks!

I was wondering though, how is the replacement level player data created?  Is it custom to my league settings or the same throughout the whole site?  The only reason I ask is that a "replacement level" player in an 8 team league is much different than a 16 team league.

It's based on your league settings, and we find the 5 players above and below your Top Players point.  For example, if you have 10 hitters and 10 teams, your Top Players point is 100 so we find 5 players above and below this level to calculate replacement level.  It's also based on the position that's being replaced.
