I just completed a yahoo draft, and towards the end, there were so many RP at the top of the list, it became very cumbersome to sift through all of them.  So I clicked off pitchers at the top and refreshed.  No effect.

Also, I found it to be very, very slow, despite my fast connection.  I missed a few picks along the way, waiting for it to refresh, and several times firefox locked up on me.

I haven't had this happen before, and am wondering if anything can be done for future drafts.

I also noticed at several points, the standings columns disappeared, then randomly later reappeared.  I like using the draft tracker, because it saves so much time crossing players off, but the last five or six rounds were very cumbersome, and defeated the purpose of using it.

On the positive side, I hated my team as I went, but at the end, I found it to be very balanced, and pleasing.  I feel the product would be very much improved with a button for hitters only or batters only in the position bar.

Thanks for all your hard work, and I look forward to this tool improving in future years.

I'd like to add a few concerns as well. It seems only the "top" players show up and once you click on "all" to get every player listed, you cannot click on a specific position to view just those players. Literally every player at every position is the only option when you click on "all" players. Goes along with what the poster above said about having to view every single RP at the top of the draft board.

And finally, can BBM update the Yahoo Offseason rankings for players? I use that column to look for value picks and also to easily locate the player on Yahoo when I'm ready to draft since it's easier to look for the number as opposed to looking for the players name when you're on the clock. Yahoo updates its o-season rankings daily and it's frustrating to be looking for a player ranked 56 per say and then have another player now ranked at 56. Then you're scrambling trying to find the player you're looking for to draft and only 5 seconds left on the draft clock. I find myself often missing out on the player I want in mocks only because I can't locate by O-Season ranks. Not to mention it defeats the purpose of value picks if Yahoo has since adjusted its Offseason ranks.

I've made the following adjustments based on comments, and added a few tips:

  1. There are now filter buttons for Hitters and Pitchers.
  2. When you select All Players, you can still filter on positions. So you can now show All Players and click off RP.
  3. Yahoo! O-Rank has been updated, and we'll update it more frequently.

Tips (to reduce load times):

  • I turn off the Stats columns since the Values are all I need to see.
  • Click "Hide Selected Players" to reduce the size of the list.
  • It seems Firefox has the biggest trouble with lots of HTML.  If it's slow there, I would try a different browser.
