I'm curious whether any thought has been given to adding weather effects to the Monster Factors. I ask because I see the site is already pulling weather data (temperature and wind), but I don't see mention of them actually being applied. There are a bunch of studies out there should how significantly temperature affects scoring, and it seems like this factor could be very important.

Sure, if we can find a good way to apply these, we can make it an optional factor. Thanks

Has weather been added to factors?

We are still looking at these, and they have not been applied yet.

Hi, I am just curious if weather has been included in the factors or not, so I can adjust my projections accordingly.  Thank you.

Also if they are not, why not?!  One of the biggest factors in DFS baseball is weather, as the sites cannot accurately price that into player salaries since they have to set the prices a day ahead, as well as weather having a significant affect on runs scored.

Yes, we are using the weather plus we consider the odds which are also affected by weather.  I would not apply your own adjustments.

Do you guys consider advanced data like recent batted ball exit velocity in your monster factors?

I use the ratings posted on http://www.mlbdfsweather.com/ every day.  Not sure maybe get ahold of this guy to get the ratings added?

Everything (that matters) that you can think of is already factored into the Vegas odds, including weather. Considering the projections already heavily weigh Vegas, there is no point to making an additional adjustment for weather.
