Yes, I would expect the optimizer tomorrow.  For the wOBA and other stats, those will be next, and we're still gathering information on what users would like to see.  Feel free to offer your thoughts on what you'd like. Thanks

Specifically I would like to see ISO (Isolated Power) and K%, HR/FB%, and FB% to identify big hitters for GPP plays on DraftKings. I'm guessing you could just scrape this data from FanGraphs.

For me i have mentioned a few items like the COMPV additions and the number of times in lineup. 

In addition, one download link would be great. One for both pitchers and hitters with just the information needed to run a solver. I generate many lineups to get a baseline where i want to focus my actual lineups so one excel download with all relative info needed like Name, Price, Value, Team, and Position. 

I still like to have the separate files for the raw data, but with just little over an hour between west coast lineup lock and first east coast game pitch, the one file would be great in my opinion

This may have been suggested already, but I'd personally rather see a batter's career platoon splits over his career splits versus a particular pitcher. The career platoon splits will offer a bigger sample size and thus a better picture of a batter's matchup versus the pitcher.

You mean a hitter's career L/R splits vs pitcher L/R rather than individual pitcher?

Yeah, exactly. I think the vast majority of career splits versus an individual pitcher are too small to consider.  However, career L/R splits vs L/R pitchers will give a bigger picture of the platoon guys to start or sit.

As an example for tonight, Jacoby Ellsbury's .333/.333/.333 split in 3 at-bats vs Lobstein doesn't tell us much. The fact that he has a .290/.347/.403 slash vs lefties in his career does.

Obviously, this is more useful when deciding between lesser players who mainly platoon. I'd just rather see the bigger sample size.

Batter L/F vs. pitcher is currently used in the Baseball Monster Factors so that would not be hard to show.  For many of the requested display stats, we'll have to find a better data source.

Agree on the career platoon stats but would like platoon wOBA, ISO (over Ave ,SLg)

One more request to your already excellent download - would it be possible to add the MLB ID # to the download?  This makes it much easier to cross reference data from various sources as sometimes names don't exactly match.  For example, the MLB ID# for Trout is 545361.  Thanks for the good work.

I'll add my vote for the CompV columns a la the basketball site - I had hoped to be able to see highs and lows for the season and certain numbers of games. Also, would a consistency column make sense and/or be possible? 

And would it be possible to list what order in the lineup a hitter is? That might be too hard if lineups aren't submitted in time.

We're adding new features most days for the next few weeks, and we'll be including 5 Comp columns and Value Consistency like basketball.  For batting order, you can see that in the Matchup column.

Illegal lineups for sites. Fanduel and other sites do not allow more than 4 players per team. Also showing the illegal lineup when you don't have the correct positions, like if I had 3 1st basemen on Fanduel.

It should say the lineup is invalid if you create an illegal one.  Is that not working for you?

No it is not. I can add a 5 players off one team which is not allowed on FD and it does not say it is illegal.

Yes, the 4 limit is not currently enforced, just the valid roster positions. We'll do some research on which DFS providers restrict the # per team and start applying that.

Also something breaking when a player is ruled out. Like Trevor Bauer was minutes before his start. A breaking bubble and something that shows your lineups are no good would be great.

We can add some warning notifications since switching between all of your lineups can take a while.

Agree with Mvand, platoon splits would be nice. This is particularly useful when the batter is a switch hitter.

And where are we at with wOBA? Not trying to complain, but we are three weeks into the season

Dear Abby,

When can we expect to see regular features back that were here last season?  Before we start adding auto lineup checkers for DFS and largely unnecessary stat columns??

Not being able to change the analysis source on the daily/weekly proj page is really driving me nuts.  Relying solely on the projections analysis is totally blind to current performance and simply is not giving good daily lineup advice on it's own.  We've been able to change this for years so I don't understand why it's gone now.  We've also been waiting for the auto-active lineup import since at least last season and that would save a ton of time every week not having to check to see if the rosters are correct every damn time I add or remove a player.

DFS stuff is taking away from time working and maintaining the regular site features, that's obvious and good information to know for next season.  I know they get whiny when something doesn't get updated every 5 minutes, but I don't really care. ;)  I know they pay more, but maybe they need person dedicated to supporting them.

Anyway... Can we get some of these old feature requests (and old features) back in action before we keep adding new features for the DFS guys?  Thanks. :)

These are good points, and there will be H2H/Roto updates including the extra analysis sources and auto active/inactive for team imports and team analysis. I can promise those this week.

That's great news Ken, and I really don't mean to come across as whiny or entitled... I just feel like the DFS voice on here is drowning the rest of us out a little bit.

If you need even part-time help running some things for this website, I'm sure you could find some if you asked nicely.  I'd help with whatever you want for a free sub ;)

The lineup optimizer doesn't seem to be working this morning. I have $4000 remaining for 1 player and it keeps filling in with a $5000 player

It worked for every lineup except 1 on DraftKings where I had $4000 remaining and it kept filling in Kris Bryant ($5000)
