Where do you get your weather info? The Rockies game was listed at 40% but having listed to roto grinders who bring a meteorologist on daily to discuss weather they had this listed as 65% chance of rain with T-Storms moving through the area and a good chance the game does not get played. I think your info has been a bit off on weather which is extremely important and worth looking into to get the most accurate information to players. No quicker way to flush a bankroll to to lose players due to weather. 100% Agree (1 vote) |
We're currently using XML Team which gets their weather form The Sports Network. We'll have a new data source for the boxscores as part of adding the advanced stats (wOBA, etc.), and they will offer a second source of weather too. 0% Agree (0 votes) |

what is wOBA 0% Agree (0 votes) |
It stands for Weighted On-Base Average and is described here: http://www.fangraphs.com/library/offense/woba/ 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Tornado watch in the area. Awful storms passed through with some more that could trail it. Could start late. Not even any weather info listed... 0% Agree (0 votes) |
And I see weather was just updated after my post 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Currently not showing any rain risk for LAD @ STL but tarp is on the field and the weather is iffy. Wash @ Cin is showing 50% risk but seems to be clear for tonight. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
BBM uses Fantasy Alarm for info alerts, I would suggest using them for weather too. They seem to do a good job with weather. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Yes, improvements need to be made here. FantasyAlarm does not offer a weather feed, but it looks like we can get weather directly from Weather Underground using their API. We'll make this a higher priority. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
