Carlos Martinez daily projections

I'm trying to make sense of Carlos Martinez's projection for tomorrow against Detroit.  Projected daily ERA of 2.83, much less than his ROS projected ERA. This despite Detroit having one of the toughest ease rankings for pitchers.  Shouldn't his ERA for tomorrow be higher than his ROS ERA since Detroit is a very tough team to pitch against.

I am with you. Double that ERA and that might be conservative projection. Makes no sense.

Checking Martinez, he is getting a small overall boost due to the following:

• Park Factors - STL's park is negative for righties in all categories and especially HR (-18%).
• L/R - Marinez is better vs. righties, and DET is mostly right especially with V. Martinez likely not playing with no DH.
