I lost Adam Wainwright and Stephen Strasburg is struggling right now so am trying to make up for the loss.  Was able to pick up Noah Syndergaard and Carlos Rodon and just missed Mike Bolsinger on the wire.  I grabbed Aaron Harang and missed AJ Burnett.  What type of pitcher is better to go after now?  For vets, there are Dan Haren, Tim Lincecum, Bartolo Colon, Alfredo Simon, Will Harris (?) and a few others.  For young studs, there is Jimmy Nelson, Mike Wright, Steven Matz and a few others not active.  Colon was doing well until recently so dropped him.  I was picking up the hot pitchers, but see the veterans project better.  Which is the better way to ROS?  Should I grab a higher projected Dan Haren instead of a young prospect and go for the stability?

I really like Mike Wright.

Can't beat Mike Wright's ERA and BAL's pitching staff is a mess.  Can he really touch 100?  If he gets another shutout win, then he'll be flying off the shelves.  I just checked and he's still on the wire.  I'll have to drop someone of significance like Anthony Gose, Rusney Castillo or Jang Ho Kang to get him (just got the latter two last week).  I'm going to have to wait another day or two and am lucky that's he's next scheduled to pitch on 5/28.

I had some time so checked around on Mike Wright.  While he's promising, he hasn't shown enough to be worth dropping guys like Castillo, Kang or Gose.

Even Bolsinger is worth more than Wright at this point and I think Wright is the better prospect.

Maybe my question is how do you evaluate a prospect when you have to drop someone who has more value?  It's easier to deal with veterans as they have a track record and their value is more a known quantity.  Now there's Bartolo Colon, Carlos Martinez, Mike Fiers (don't think I'll mess with him), Alfredo Simon and the like on the waiver.

P.S.  How does one Insert My Team Analysis?

Thank you.
