For Roto/H2H/DFS daily projections, you can select the date range for your L/R wOBA and ISO numbers. Here are the options: - Career
- Current Season
- Past 2 Seasons
- Past 3 Seasons
More stats will be added over the next few days. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Hey Ken, Plenty of good features you've been adding on lately. Well done . I think for the functionality of this L/R wOBA and ISO tool, it would be worthwhile to be able to see both Current Season and past 2 Years/3 years at the same time. Some hitters have improved/worsened in sustainable ways where Current Season may be most useful, while others are candidates for regression to 2-3 Year averages. As of now it seems only one time period can be viewed on the same page. However looking at all these additional columns could feel like a lot of clutter. So I suggest you may want to include some weighted composite wOBA/ISO stat. Both Current Season and 2-3Year values weigh into these figures, and you can increase the weight of Current Season as we get deeper into 2015. That way you're capturing both time periods without looking at 8 different columns. 100% Agree (1 vote) |
I agree with the value of seeing multiple views, should make it like the CompV columns where the user can input their desired criteria. More data the better! Thanks a bunch guys, cheers 0% Agree (0 votes) |
These new features are excellent. They allow me to sort out the clutter very easily. Keep up the good work. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
+1. The only hinky part is the Pitchers sorting by wOBA. I end up trying to find a SP from the bottom up when not sure of the second pitcher slot. A better question is how do you select Pitchers when unsure of the second guy? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I'll get the sorting issue reversed for pitchers. For the columns, the long-term solution seems to be allowing for an unlimited # of custom columns. The custom columns can be Comparison Columns, wOBA (selectable date range), and whatever else is useful. Then preset groups can be created to allow users to easily set a default set without the work of adding the more common stats. The challenge will then be making this easy to use and follow. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
