I use Baseball Monster every year for my draft prep.
I have been using it since 2010 when I joined what I consider to be an expert league. The scoring system we use for the league is a 16-team 16-scoring category league. So, there are 8 hitting and 8 pitching scoring categories.
It is easily the best league I've ever been a part of.
With that said, Baseball Monster is the very perfect compliment to following our league. It can highlight pitchers and hitters that are more valuable in our custom 8x8 league that wouldn't otherwise be considered a serious option in a standard 5x5.
An example would be Dexter Fowler. Of course, everyone is coming on to him for this upcoming 2013 season.. In our league, he has been owned since 2010 when I believe he started getting some at bats. A main reason for this is that our league counts triples. He triples very well, and takes him from being a guy who does a lot of things well, to a guy who can do a lot of things well and do one thing at an elite level.
Any way... I digress...
My live draft is Saturday March 165th in NY... I neeeeeeed these BM projections by this coming weekend so that I can prep for my draft and then go and slay my draft!
I have been a premium member in years past, but I'm not sure I will this year... It's not that the price is unfair, it just doesn't seem to provide me with any real additional advantages. I have also had a friend that I turned on to BM say the exact same thing.
