Reds outfielder Ryan Ludwick dislocated his right shoulder while sliding into base in the third inning of their season opener against the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. He'll have an MRI on Tuesday to determine the severity of the shoulder injury.

Tough break for Ryan Ludwick, who undergoes shoulder surgery Wed and will be out three months. expected to call up Derrick Robinson.
