Is the optimizer geared more for GPP or Cash Games?

If GPP, is there any way to gear it for cash games?  Or do I just do it manually from the optimized GPP lineup?

Thanks!

It just finds the best deals and plugs them into your lineup so it's not specifically intended for one type over the other.

From my experience, it usually spits out low owned players so I think it's a better tool for GPPs

Does the 'like' icon have any effect on the Optimizer or is that a social thing?

That's display-only and has no effect on the numbers.

Thanks, I don't know if this has anything to do the new filter (ver cool btw) but the non-starting players don't seem to be hidden any more.

---nevermind...

If you click hide the non-starters, you shouldn't see the non-starters for confirmed lineups: HOU and NYY currently.  This isn't working for you?

Is there anyway to exclude certain players to not include them while using the lineup optimizer? I think that feature would be even nicer to have while using basketball monster. There are so many value guys in the NBA model that don't start or get very few minutes. Thanks a lot

Would a price filter be helpful in filtering players out when optimizing? It's not the same as picking the players to exclude, but it would be cleaner to implement.

How would the price filter work?  The price filter may filter out players we want when we only want to exclude one or two players the optimizer keeps selecting.  That said, it would be handy to see a list of players at or below a certain price.  Sometimes, I use the optimizer at the last minute so time is of essence.

You would enter a low and high dollar amount, and those players would be shown.

So with the price filter, the lineup optimizer would choose from the pool of players the price filter selects?

I think that would work.  There may still be specific players I would not want from the filtered list, but if I can see the list of players I  can manually select the player(s) and eliminate the player I do not want.

The only problem could be when one has very little time and the optimizer keeps picking the player that is not wanted.
