Hi, in NBA there was a link to download the CSV export, a permalink of sorts, available through one of the settings/options pages does something similar exist for MLB subscribers (er well, once you let us pay for it!? :) ) If not is it easy enough to add a link like that for downloading the .csv every day without having to visit and configure the projections page? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
We'll create a link for this and include one for XLS also. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
That would be great. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Probably need 2 links. 1 for batters and 1 for SPs. 100% Agree (1 vote) |
Hello. Just wondered if this was still in the plans? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Yes, this is still on the way. I would estimate by Tuesday. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Sounds good--thanks! 0% Agree (0 votes) |
This will likely require two links, one for hitters and one for pitchers. Is this what you're expecting? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
yeah two links is great, preferred, does not matter! I guess a side question ... it seems, I guess, why are the BM factors not included as a column on the CSV export? I'd like the have them for view could the same thing be done for the .xls export, just throw all the links and we can use whatever? csv definiltey the preference though if only one is possible 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I can work with two separate links--no problem 0% Agree (0 votes) |

Ken is this simple to add another link in the user settings for the xls as well? I prefer to use the factors separate and included on some displays after I download the csv, but the factors aren't on the CSV. They ARE on the excel. So I mean either downloadable excel, or include the factors on the CSV? But they're site-specific. So. I don't know how all of that works or would work. I understand changing the CSV is not desirable. Did you run into some snag like that or? Is there any way for me to automatically download a file from the site that has the factors in a column, like they appear in the XLS file? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I would like to see the csv reflect the same info I see on the main DFS projections page--like you had with NBA Thanks! 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Hey Ken not trying to be a pest, but I got excited when you did mention back originally that this would be possible. What's the current situation? As of right now I have the download link for CSV but every single day I Have to go through and export excel files (for each site also, not just one) in order to get the BM factors.
Is there any way around that? Either permanlinks to the excels (by site) OR just adding factors to the CSV OR - I mean - WHATEVER might be easiest / cleanest for you? I'm not sure if you had an idea already when you brought it up ... so don't let me spin that into left field just ... thinking out loud!

I think the link would be easiest, and I'll give this a shot in the next few days. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
would love a link for the Excel file. While you're at it, also would be nice for the names to be clean and dated like the CSV files (like Export_20160513.csv). Right now when I download the excel file it comes out as d5yrxytmq....xls. Not important though. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Yes, that changes makes sense too. Thanks 0% Agree (0 votes) |
When i try and import the CSV i get an xls doc missing all the different salaries and positions. From the DFS page, download CSV has several lines out of order. As shown below. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
It should work now. It looks like there was an invalid character in the Odds field. Sorry for the trouble. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Spoke too soon. Test with SP, and no issue with that CSV, but Batters still adds extra rows. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Both look OK for me. Can you show a screenshot again? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
The CSV export from the main DFS page was correct. The export CSV from the settings page produces the XLS instead of the CSV which is missing all the salary/pos info for all the sites. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
The CSV links should work for you now. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
THanks! 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Hey Ken, I see the xls links now in the user settings page. Are these "live" or are you still working on them?
Thanks either way! 0% Agree (0 votes) |
They are live so feel free to try them out. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
The .XLS files that are downloaded from the permalink are .. not the same as the ones on the /Daily.aspx page? They do not have the same information, namely, the daily matchup factors for whichever site we're using. That was the only reason I mentioned the xls - I was hoping to be able to download matchup factors automatically, because they are not included in the CSV nor the permalinked XLS stuff you just made ... they ARE in the .xls files that are available for download on /Daily.aspx ...... but the permalinks go to a different document ... Is there any way to be able to download ANY kind of file from ANYWHERE with one of those permalinks ... that includes the daily factors in a column ?? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
Yes, ideally, the XLS would contain the same fields that you've selected on the DFS page, and I'll make that change. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
