It's pretty hard for a player to get a good projection batting at the bottom of the order. Players down there get less PA's and therefore are projected for less hits, runs, rbis. Also, the players around them tend to be less productive hurting their runs and rbis. I'm sure his projection would look better at the top of the order. A lot of his recent value is coming from home runs so he's not relying on those around him as much.
