I've noticed that whenever there is a huge outlier in wOBA or ISO the color coding highlights skews to mostly red. I understand why this happens like in the instance of the Tigers bats today making all the other wOBAp and ISOp numbers skew more red than normal because the tigers opposing pitcher has only had one start and did not perform well (Although based on his bullpen work he many not be very good).

My question is, is there anyway to normalize the color coding so outliers are recognized as = to the next highest dark green or red hue? Asking because I use that page to eyeball players to target and it is a lot tougher when the majority of the players metrics are close to a white shading as a result of the outliers. I would do this in excel but you guys update projections much more effectively than I do as the day progresses. Just a shot in the dark hoping there's an easy fix.

Yes, that's a good idea.  We're currently coloring based on today's values, and we can switch to using a fixed average values.
