Evaluating hitters

I've been thinking about combinations to look for with hitters on a given day, for example, a hitter who walks and steals a lot playing against a pitcher who walks a lot.  Here's another: 

High hard contact, fly ball hitter against pitcher with same. (sounds obvious, but...)

Wondering if any one else has combinations they look for.

I look for what they did in the last  three games ....because when you're making good contact and hitting the ball hard that's good news
