Do projections 'tie-in' to Vegas odds/totals?

Do Baseball Monster starting pitcher win projections directly relate to Vegas odds?

Also, for hitters, does the sum of all players' runs scored projections for each team equate to their teams' Vegas run total?

If no for either, why not? Wouldn't one be massively rich if they were better able to project win and run projections than sportsbooks? Meaning why it would make sense to make projections using any other method?

Thanks Ken.

The odds are factored in, but our totals do not automatically match the projected runs.  Typically, they are within a 0.5-1.0 runs at the highest.

Ok, cool, so then you do the best you can it seems and acknowledge how important an indicator they are. I assumed so but just wanted confirmation. Glad to hear.

While I have you, are the aggregate points scored projections for NBA players on the same team within .5-1 of their Vegas projected totals too (for basketball monster)?

For basketball, the difference may be more than 0.5-1.0, but the odds are factored in there too.  The effects are less in basketball since distributing those stats within the odds is a bit more challenging.
