Long time user of basketball monster, saw that for this site we need to upload our custom projections. Does anyone know of a source I can obtain that? Or the process?

In a roto 7*7 league. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Ken,

I know this have been ask before, but can you confirm if you are making custom projections for BBM or are we using the custom projections from other sites imported here?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt we'll have time to create baseball projections so I would import from somewhere else.  I believe an export from FantasyPros will work, or from FanGraphs:

Sadly, FG doesn't even provide data for QS, Blown saves, Holds, etc. It makes them rather useless for projections unless you stitch them together or fill all the holes before uploading.

The steamer projections I upload from FanGraphs have player names all in one column, but the formet you need is two separate columns.  So is the only way for me to get this to work to manually input every players name?

I can download the steamer format and upload it directly.  Are you saving it directly, or are you opening in Excel and then saving?

You don't need Excel.  Just download the CSV files from FanGrahps, and then upload them here:

Would love access to the Steamer download/upload! Not confident in my ability to make the necessary transformations to the worksheets. Thanks.

I have imported the latest into your account.

Importing is very simple:

  1. Open this link: http://www.fangraphs.com/projections.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&type=steamer&team=0&lg=all&players=0
  2. Click Export Data, and save the CSV somewhere (you'll remember) on your computer.
  3. Switch to the Pitchers tab, and do the same export.
  4. Go to the Custom Projections page, and upload the two CSVs you saved.

Just wanted to thank you for keeping this import option open and for configuring a way to update from CBS, much obliged.

It's still a crushing blow that you don't do baseball projections anymore but I am getting over it.

Going to tag along here.  For some reason when I import projections, certain players don't show up on my MLB Express league.  I.E. Villar, Bryant, Ramirez among others.  I can't see them in the projections page.  Any insight?

Okay I just realized it has something to do with people having dual eligibility (or more).  Any ideas?  It worked earlier, now they're missing

I would delete the Position column from your CSV and try again.  The site will ignore imported positions and use its own anyway.

Hi Ken. I saw that you uploaded Steamer projections for a user. Are you able to upload the recent Steamer projections for me? If not, I can see if I can do it myself -- I just don't trust my ability to pull it off. Thanks!

When I use the fangraphs csv it doesn't bring in all of the players. It brings in nearly all of the players likely to be drafted but misses a few. If I try to manipulate the data in any way (e.g., deleting players projected for less than 100 at bats) and save back to a .csv then it won't import anything.

I want to have all the players in as projected so I can update team players in my leagues throughout the season. Any thoughts?

It should cover all important players.  What's an example player it's missing?

Josh Bell. Ok, I won't exaggerate his importance but he is projected to start and was drafted in one of my leagues.

I see you have projections imported.  Did you get it to work, or do you need me to upload them?

Hi Ken...

I just got it to work, had to save as CVS and not Excel...

Will the option to analyze my H2H weekly matchup using these imported projections be available this year???

Thanks a million Ken!!!!
