What is status of Baseball Monster for 2018? Same as last year or paid product?

We'll be updating the site next week with all of the new players and updated pages.  Initially, it'll allow importing projections (like last season) and using the tools.  We'll also be working on full season projections which should be ready early March.  I'm still not sure if it'll be membership or not.

for what it's worth, @kslight, my league and i would happily pay a membership fee again to have the full projections and other functionality from a few years ago. we found it invaluable.

We're still getting the site ready for this season and should have an updated database (with new players) ready by the end of the month.  This will allow using the draft tracker with imported projections.  Once our projections are ready, we'll enable those.

An initial version is ready which allows importing projections and drafting.  The other tools will be updated in the next few days.  It's still a little rough but should mostly work.

Where do we put in the league ID for the draft tracker?

You should see a prompt once you've set your Fantasy Provider under League Settings:

For now, it works for Yahoo, ESPN, and FanTrax.

I did, but I’m still not seeing where I can add the league ID after it’s been authorized. I see where I can add it on ESPN and fantrax, but not yahoo.

Yes, there seems to be an ESPN issue.  You said it did work on basketball?  It doesn't seem to work for me there either.

Still having trouble with yahoo draft tracker...after authorizing it and it confirming that it’s authorized and after putting in the yahoo league ID, it’s still saying that I need to refresh the page and authorize yahoo again.

Hey KSlight... when do you expect the in season tools to be available?  Like weekly projections that synch with my leauge?  In the meantime, is there a way to use the season long projections I've already imported and drafted with to analyze if anyone on my waiver is worth a pickup?

In-Season likely won't be ready until right before the season.  We're working on full season projections first and then the short-term.

Ken, please do the DFS portion. The DFS baseball season just won’t be the same without baseballmonster. Your layout and projections are second to none. From reading the message boards it seems like most people agree.

I would add to that I am sure many people would be more than willing to pay for your DFS service. So many elements of it are useful when sorting odds, projections, pitching matchups, etc that my love for the service and how much it helps me organize me thoughts is hard to over state! Last year I almost felt bad not paying to help you guys out, because I know your site has helped me out when sititng down to look at some baseball every night!

Sorry for the delay on the DFS decision, but we'll know for sure by Monday.  We haven't done anything with it yet so it would be the same as last season initially.

For career L/R, we'll have to see if our data provider has expanded back more seasons.

I'm trying to link my Yahoo league, but I'm not getting the prompt to enter the League ID#.  I was able to authenticate after a couple of tries, but I'm still just getting last year's results when I try to look at projected standings.  Any idea what's going on?

I think we'll have DFS, but it may not be running perfectly by opening day.

The plan is to make them free until things are running smoothly.  There may also be a day or two off over the next week.

Huge fan of the projections, I'm just wondering when can I expect to see them go live? I need to make alternative plans if they will not be ready today. Any best guess would be greatly appreciated. Even if they are rough/not fully functional yet, having them live would be hugely helpful.

• Daily Projections for Full Season leagues
• Weekly Projections for Full Season leagues
• We'll do some DFS testing in the morning and those should go live late-morning.

One quick note on the Weekly Projections page... when I try to change the "Top Players" drop down to "Available + My" or any of the other choices, it defaults back to Top Players.  Could you let us know when that is fixed?

How would I factor in the bench size when setting up my league? I don't see that option -- only # of hitters/pitchers. The bench can be either position.

For Bench, if you think the bench will play most days, include them in the hitter/pitcher count.  Otherwise, do not include the bench size.  If bench is shared, you may need to split that number.  It's not a perfect solution but should give a reasonable estimate for now.
