Projection Previews using Projection Monster

We're working on getting the full season projections ready and are part way through the hitters.  We expect to have hitters ready in the next few days and then the pitchers soon after.

If you're interested in previewing these projections or just seeing some of the parameters used to generate them, we've added a new Projection Monster page.

It shows the projected stats for each player along with the assumptions used to generate those stats.

There's also a way to add your thoughts on this page if you disagree with our assumptions.  For now, the feedback is only words, but ideally this will lead to a way for users to customize their own projections to match their assumptions.

Hi guys! Quick question. When on the League Settings page, I can't change the number of teams from "12". Is there something I am missing or is that the only option you are providing at the moment? Thanks!

The interface is odd, but you should be able to tab into that field.

Will there be any other stats projected for hitters. I'm in a league that includes net steals (therefore requires a projection for caught stealing).

Yes, all stats are projected, and we're only showing the main ones on that page.

Looks like you've finished all the projections for the hitters.  Are those going to go live soon, or are you going to wait to make them official until you finish the pitcher too?  Do you have an expected date to be finished with the pitchers projections?  Appreciate all the hard work!

We'll have the hitters up there today.  I think pitchers will be easier and hopefully ready for the weekend.

You'll need to import pitchers if you need them tonight.  For example:

Yes, they'll be there tomorrow.  Kershaw, Kluber, Sale are top 3 (so far) so they must be solid!

Will the projections be updated throughout the season? I.e. for playing time and roster adjustments?

Yes, but we haven't made season-long adjustments yet.  Short-term and daily are being adjusted, and we'll get to long-term shortly.  We'll get into a daily pattern too so they'll be updated each night.
