Can I ignore/remove the Pos Adjust factor?

First, will someone explain exactly how the "Pos Adjust" works when calculating the players projections ROS? and secondly, is it possible to not have one's position affect ranks/projections?

The Value and rank are not affected by position, but the Positional Value is.  The adjust is calculated by finding the average value for each position and then comparing it to the league average value.  So if the average catcher has a value -0.2 and the league average is 0.00, catchers have an adjust of +0.20.
