You can add an avatar image from your User Settings page.
My Team Players page is suddenly giving me 'Import from CBS'. It's an ESPN league that has worked perfectly all season before today.
Make sure you're set to CBS under League Settings.

My League Settings are, correctly, set to ESPN. I have never changed anything or ever used CBS, and its suddenly giving me an 'Import from CBS' option, so I am no longer able to import my ESPN stats.
It should show for you now.
