I have several injuries on one squad and am looking for someone to cut. Does Fujikawa have the closer gig when he gets back? If not, he is the first I'm letting loose.
What is his job security look like, if any?
He's expected to be their closer when he returns.
Sveum said Wednesday he would continue to mix-and-match with his bullpen at the end of games, though he said Kyuji Fujikawa is the "logical choice" to return as closer when he returns from the disabled list at the end of the month. Fujikawa will have a minor league rehab stint but nothing is scheduled.

I dropped him, as I needed to push somebody out and that situation looks messy. Sveum does not seem a rational man.
