Value Changes

Can I ask what causes the player values to change throughout the day?  I understand place in the batting order might change and that could cause value to change but what else might cause the change.  I'm asking because I use the daily projections for DFS and notice they change throughout the day.

Yes, they will change if the projected order is different than actual order.  Also, the game odds can make small adjustments along with a change in opposing SP.  I believe that's it.  Are you seeing large changes?

Earlier this morning (I can't remember the time) the top 5 hitters for 7:10 and later games were:

Betts: 3.99, now 4.07

Yelich: 3.89, now 3.59

Tatis: 3.68, now 4.02

JRam: 3.58, now 3.29

Grandal: 3.54, now 3.32

Top 5 are now: Betts,Tatis, Rizzo, Story and Voit.

I was just checking why things seem to change some much throughout the day.

I would guess it's based on changes in odds since the projected lineups and SPs probably didn't change.

OK, i'll keep an eye out.  I know Yelich was 3.59 and now he is back up to 3.9 and Grandal was 3.32 and now he is at 3.54

I see the o/u went from 7.5 to 8.0 so maybe that's the cause.  I would keep track of the odds too along with the player projeciton.

That would make sense with values going up if the O/U or run total goes up
