Nolan Arenado was just called up.  ESPN's fantasy prospect rankings had Wil Myers #1, Arenado #2.  At Arenado's projection here, he's not worth picking up, but any view on his potential upside from that projection?  Is he worth rostering vs. a Carlos Quentin or Justin Ruggiano, for example?

Same question with Wil Myers -- does the upside warrant a roster spot (making the assumption he's called up soon), and is there a threshold you can point to where you'd roster him vs. someone else?  Thanks.

Generally speaking, you always want to go with upside for your bench/speculative players. Of course Arenado has upside from his projection, he gets to play half of his games in COL, and he also plays at a position worth gambling. But we're talking about a 22-year-old with decent but not great minor league numbers (.299/.345/.473) and just 18 games above AA. Myers looks like a better overall prospect for re-draft purposes. I'd roster either of them ahead of Quentin/Ruggiano.
