cI am looking to join a team with the following discrete positions that I can't setup for Yahoo as my positions source in In League Settings: LF, CF, RF

Roster Positions: C, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, IF, LF, CF, RF, OF, OF, SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, RP, P, DL, DL, DL, DL, DL

Can you please fix this soon (draft is on Sunday)?

Also I'm curious about the DL slot.  There is no way to add postions for that... maybe it's not a big deal (used only on players that don't play).  Though there is competition for those players which means it would be nice to somehow be able to use them (new so I'm not sure maybe there is some feature that can use DL).

Thanks...

Yes, I believe I have this information, and I'll add a new Yahoo! position source that includes LF, CF, RF.  I'll also add a new Active Roster spot for DH-only.

There's a new position source called Yahoo! (LF,CF,RF).  I got the info from Yahoo directly so if you see any issues, please let me know.

Thanks man!  I see it: Yahoo (LF,CF,RF) (C,1B,2B,SS,3B,DH,LF,CF,RF,SP,RP)

Setting up a new league and I do see that there are some settings that are missing that I wanted to add: MI, CI.  Middle Infield and Center Infield.  Maybe you can put those in too?  Found these recommend that from this website: http://www.fantasysportshookup.com/baseballsetup.html

Not a big deal but I am trying to setup this league optimally.

Oh, I don't see DL.  Can that be added easily or is that a bit more difficult?

Most of those positions you're listing are actually Active Roster spots.  You should find all of those listed under the League Settings.  Is that what you needed?

Yep, it's there under "activer roster spots", alright, but it would be nice to see it as a position source as well, for the sake of consistency.

Okay, I see most in the active roster spots (minus NA, BN, DL).  Seems like the Position Source selection should populate the Active Roster spots.  If they are different, I agree with Rapierman that it's not consistent and therefore confusing.  The Position Source affects the scarcity values but what is the active roster spots for?

The Active Roster spots are what determine the Scarcity Value.  The position source determines the valid positions for your league which are regularly updated as they provider changes eligibility.

In that case, i can definitely say that "CI" and "MI" are valid optional positions, given that our own BSM leagues use them.  "Util" is an extra slot available to any batter, much like "Bench", which keeps the batter active.  Yahoo standard league default is 2 Util slots.
