Thinking of picking him up for category juice and because Brett Lawrie is killing me. (I have Gyorko and Prado, so any of the 2b-ss-3b people will help). J-Spin is the highest of the available ones in the projections, above Plouffe, Chisenhall, Eduardo Nunez, etc. I have 3 SB all year, as the Brian Roberts experiment didn't work too well.

Somebody like Plouffe plays every day, but such every day play would kill my batting average. And J-Spin's .240 or so is better than Brett's .197.

Note that I would be dropping a pitcher, not Lawrie.

There are worse players to roster for the "category juice" as Pianow likes to say. Just keep in mind that he's sitting against LHP.

So I waited a day and picked up Stephen Drew. He's raised his avg. 100 points in the last two weeks. Of course, he's a Drew, so we'll see.

Now I know you are reading Pianow's stuff, and I certainly condone it big smile
