Rather than using our projections, you can choose to use the current season results or past # of days, under Analysis Source, when projecting players. If you select any factors those will be applied on top of the Analysis Source results.

Anyway to specify that you want at least X number of plate appearances, when you select season stats?
Obviously Didi Gregorius is not going to be the highest scoring player this week (O: 0% Agree (0 votes) |
We'll wait to get some more feedback on this feature and make some more changes then. The idea of a PA limit makes sense. In that case, would you want it to default to the projections if not enough data is available? Thanks

Thank you for considering it. Just one quick question in regards to the value projection. If I choose to get projections based on the last months performance for my hitters, does it take into effect the pitcher they are facing today? If a pitcher that is usually good, but have stunk it up for the past few starts, is that taken into consideration when the hitters are projected, or is it purely on the hitters past x-number of days performance?

The factors are applied last so if you use Past # of Days, and select Opposing Pitcher, the results will be adjusted for the pitcher. Currently, the factors being applied are based on our projections and not the Past # of Days selected.

You adjust YOUR projections on a bi-weekly basis, right? Don't YOUR projections thus take into account perfromance since the beginnning of the year? I am pretty sure they do considering Segura's projections. So......unless I really don't trust your projections (I do), then I think using this tool is dangerous to use because of the small sample size. Am I missing something?

We suggest using our projections, but we have added the Full Season and Past # of Days because users have requested it. You are correct that we update the projections regularly.
