Braun trade

I lobbed over a trade offer for Braun that got accepted, to my surprise.  

Ortiz, Matt Joyce and Heath Bell for Braun.  I know it depends on how suspensions go, but would you guys do this trade?

on the plus side, I pair him with Trout.  Downside, he's out in a month.

update:  this is 12 team roto

If Braun plays all year then this is a great trade. Keepers getting Braun is a great trade.  Redrafts Roto leagues u can just use Braun til he goes on suspension. HTH is the question. If braun starts his suspension in August he misses the playoffs. Unless braun can push his suspension to next year or bribe another arbitrator. I would pass in HTH. I cannot believe with this publicity that baseball would let Braun off again.

hah, thanks Matt.  so sad to see him go.  he even hit a home run last night, a farewell to my fantasy team.  that said, maybe he ends up back on the waiver wire...

now if only braun can fix up that thumb and avoid suspension.

Update:  thankfully, i had Joyce for one more game yesterday before official swap.  swan song of a home run and a steal.  yeehaw.
