I noticed when looking at the .OPS for player on here it doesn't match up with other sources such as....yahoo, espn, baseball reference, to name a few. It's off slightly from anywhere else I have looked. Any reason for this? Could it be a possible glitch?
Just a couple examples...Miggy is at 1.088 but 1.096 anywhere else I look, Cargo is at 1.000 but .993 on other sites/sources...and so on and so on. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
We'll look into this but first thoughts are probably some rounding is occurring where it shouldn't be. Thanks for pointing it out.

Sounds good...and no problem. Keep up the great work.

So... was this issue only effecting the rankings pages? Or the projections too? All players across the board? Is it just the OPS column?
Man, I'm bored.

Not sure if it was affecting projectons, but I know it was affecting all players. I initally took the top 10 on here and compared the .OPS to other sources. It wasn't off a ton as you can see, but prob enough to affect some rankings to an extent. I haven't paid as much attention to it lately, but the Segura thing caught my eye and went to do some checking again. Recently made a trade for him in a keeper and was comparing rankings/stats as well as ROS projections with various sources.

Some of the more complex calculations require custom code to process, and that wasn't being run in all cases. It should be running everywhere now.
