I need to drop one of the following to take Cueto off DL: Gerrit Cole, Stults, or Jarrod Parker. The projections say to drop Parker, I would figure to drop Stults, but he has been playing lights out lately...Can also drop Rutledge but would prefer not to. what yall think?

I am not a fan of bench hitters. Normally prefer for my bench to be SP. If u never play Rutledge then he is ur easy drop.

I really like Stults' WHIP, but he's low K/9 (5/29 start aside) and the wins are going to be hard to come by. I don't see either as a big loss, and it's close, but I'd likely hang on to Parker.

Thanks guys. Hailfire and Buser, I agree with both of yall.... It's a 12 team h2h league with more active spots for both hitters and pitchers than most leagues and 5 bench spots...Usually I'll have 4 pitchers and one hitter on my bench to maximize my pitching stats, but keeping Rutledge helps out a lot because the 2nd base and SS waiver options are awful... if Segura or Cano got hurt, I would be hurting bad. Its hard to drop players doing so well, but I decided to drop Stults cause there are still other decent SP options out there if I need another (Miguel Gonzalez, Dempster, etc.) but no other good 2B/ SS options.

Streaming is almost always a good option to consider in h2h leagues - it can make at least as much sense to roll with two-start pitchers and/or play the individual matchups as it does to carry a guy that has simply been pitching well lately.

very true Buser, I do that on occasion, but usually have a kind of slow streaming strategy in this league...pick a guy up (like Stults recently) and if he does well, I hang on to him for a bit longer than just that start or the week. I have a pretty good lead and my team is very solid in this particular league thanks to some lucky trades, so I'm interested more in keeping my team strong for the long run just as much as I am winning a category or two a week.
