You'll notice that we've updated many of the interface features of the website along with added functionality.  You may need to refresh your browser to see the latest changes.  Here's a brief list of the updates:

  • Simplified front page with many features now available from their own page including News and Player Comments.
  • Larger font size on many pages making reading the website easier.
  • Daily Projection Updates
    • The game list now shows the time remaining until the game.
    • Icons are used to show games in progress or finished.
    • Teams with confirmed lineups are highlighted with green.
    • Players in confirmed lineups are highlighted with green.
    • Players confirmed out-of-lineup are highlighted in red.

We'll continue making changes over the next few weeks.

Cool, I'm sure your making great, well thought out updates. It's a little annoying though to have to go to a separate page for the player news. The homepage is now useless, there's no relevant information on it. Just nitpicking - the site is still great and I appreciate all the work and updates you guys put into it. Keep it up!

Ken and I have been having discussions over the past fews with the aim of cleaning up the user interface, while still keeping as much utility as possible.

We will be returning the front page to the "portal" format for registered users. What we plan on showing, hopefully in a more organized way: RotoInfo News, Player Comments, Hot Players. We'll be moving twitter widgets and (new) RSS feeds to the standalone News page.

Thanks for the initial feedback. If you or any others have additional feedback as to what you find most useful or most superfluous of the old/new front page, please let us know thumbs up

Thanks for the thoughtful updates and continuing to improve the site.

My favorite aspects of the homepage (and I check in frequently) were the player comments and the 3rd party tweets (RotoWorld, etc.) as they helped me realize any roster moves/adds I should make.  Rotoinfo tends to be too unfiltered (whereas Ken made a great list of third party guys), and it's hard to find important notes, so I personally ignore it most of the time.  Personally, I'd love if daily projections were on the homepage for registered users, linked to your team and with adaptable settings (show multiple teams, etc.).

But more importantly I am guessing, you guys are trying to figure out how to make the homepage more attractive for non-registered users.  I don't have any brilliant ideas, but I think the fundamental question is how to show someone who's never used it just how awesome baseballmonster is, in one page, before they click away.

The remaining season projections on homepage definitely got my attention at first.  Featured player comments could be an idea (vs. the usual list of all comments).  Top 5 daily projected players?  Overall, the reasons i pay for the site and keep coming back (and bugging you guys) are projections, daily projections, the ability to load in and monitor/manage/optimize your team, and key comments/call-outs on players.

Thanks, liam. We anticipate rolling out a familiar but improved front page tomorrow.

I'm really digging the Hot Hitters/Pitchers rankings on the homepage - this has been a great update to see who's really streaking at the moment and how good they are playing in context with other available players. I could see this being extremely useful, especially at the beginning of a season when surprise sleepers are tearing it up.

Can you guys also include the vegas lines on the daily projections page just like you did for NBA?

What information from the odds would you want to see?

So the key info is probability the team will win, the total projected runs, and the spread? Just wondering the best way this can be formatted for everyone to easily interpret.

Essentially I was going to take the vegas info and convert it to projected runs scored for each team.

Yes, projected runs for each would also give you an idea of the likelihood a pitcher would get the win. We'll look into adding this.

What time at night is the daily auto update for the daily fantasy projections?

For pricing, this should process by 9pm Eastern though some did not until this morning. Is it the pricing or something else you're asking about?

Yes, the pricing.  You mentioned that some didn't update until morning.  What time in the morning is the update complete?  Thanks for the information.

Would it be possible to have a column where we can select which category to punt in our Daily Projections, similar to basketballmonster.

If there also a way to import all players and choosing the top players with the autoselect so that the roto final projections are more accurate instead of manually bench other manager teams.

Any chance of a smart tool as well?

They should all be ready the night before, typically by 9pm Eastern.

I want to be able to punt % stats compared to counting stats to see what is a better play of the day.

Yes, we'll be adding a punting control to a few of the pages. Thanks
