I have essentially blown up my team & looking for next year - my keepers are Sale, Braun, Freeman, & Minor/Cobb(haven't decided on that one)

In various deals I traded away Beltre, Pence, Panda, Latos, Fister, Perkins, Nathan,

In those various deals I obtained several picks (1-3rd  2-4th & 1-7th) and Ryan Bruan

that gives me 7 picks in the first 4 rounds

and

that gives me 11 total picks in the first 8 rounds

This league is a 12-Man 7X7 H2H league - We keep 4 players - Draft is snake

Opinions on my strategy?

Your keepers aren't world-beaters, but picking early and often relative to others tends to give you a good chance to complete. Just don't screw up the draft big smile

I have BBM so it would be impossible to screw the draft up right? ;)

you don't consider Braun or Sale a top keeper?

I was speaking to your keepers as a group.

Just keep in mind where the available draft-day talent drop off is in your league.  In my keeper league, the end of the 3rd round is essentially the end of the 6th round in a regular draft.  Read: Little to no impact players can be acquired with those extra draft picks, mainly because they are all kept.

Stockpiling picks can work, but you are probably way better off trading those picks back to other managers for some well established high-value keepers.  In my experience good keepers trump extra picks unless they are First/Second round picks.
