Looking to pick up either Carter or Plouffe, both look good right now and should be good source HR/RBI.  Who's better ROS?

Also, in a seperate topic, I think I could deal Carlos Gonzalez and get back Chirs Davis and a very good SP (Verlander or Sale).  I was going to offer something like Cargo/ Fister for Davis/ Verlander or Davis/ Sale...I really want to get that upper level pitcher, and I'd prefer Cargo ROS over Davis, but is it worth it to get a quality starter??  I cant see Verlander being this average ROS or Davis keeping up the crazy pace ROS either.

Porjections aren't too far apart. I don't have grand expectations for either, but Carter has the bigger HR/RBI upside if he goes on a tear.

As for buying low on Verlander in that deal. I like the idea.

I agree, I was leaning Carter... its a weekly h2h league, and low average guys like Carter really test your patience cause they have those weeks where they go 1 for 20 with no counting stats, but seems like the upside is bigger for him than Plouffe.

So at this point is there any big drop off from Cargo to Davis besides the steals?  I know Cargo has the track record, and I keep waiting for Davis to slow down but he never does.  I'd prefer Cargo, but the gap closes every day it seems.

Thanks for your quick responses Buser, much appreciated.

CarGo is a machine, there's no question. But even if the difference is reasonable, there's the whole step up to Justin Verloander to consider.
