What do y'all think of Adam Eaton's rest of season value? Does he become an everyday player like the plan was for him pre-injury? Or does he become more of a platoon OF because of how crowded the ARI OF is? I've seen his projections, kind of conservatively what I thought (runs and steals and little else). I have him in my DL spot and I have to choose soon between him, Logan Morrison, and Chris Carter...It would be my one bench batter and I really just want the one that has the most rest of season potential, I've seen the projections but really looking for who has most potential to clear projections...any opinions? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
ARI technically has bodies, but he's going to play. Ross/Kubel is screaming for a platoon: Ross' OPS vs RHP is .563, Kubel's OPS vs LHP is .419. Three very different players. Eaton and Carter are complete opposites, does that not have you leaning one way versus the other?

Not really. Ive been lucky to have made a lot trades that have worked out well for me and i have a really good balance of speed power and average. Its a 12 team h2h, im in first by a decent margin and im looking to keep winning to lock up a playoff bye and have a strong bench player or two in case of injury or to use for trades. Carter has been ver consistent but all the preseason eaton hype has me intriuged... guessing by your response lomo is not in consideration? 0% Agree (0 votes) |
I agree that eaton has nice upside. Could go crazy on the base paths. I have him on bench in both leagues and will see how he does over the next month.
Though lately my strategy in my 12 team league has been daily pickups based on top available players in next day's daily projections. Has worked out great, end up with top platoon matchups and it exceeds the stats of a Chris carter or Morrison.

Yeh I like to do that but I only get 6 adds a week and would prefer to stream pitchers. I have enough strong batters for my regular lineup, this is more for a bench guy or fillin for injuries. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
All three are worth of consideration. None of these guys has a particularly safe floor, so it's going to have to be personal preference. If all three were available in my league, I'd grab them in this order: Eaton, Carter. LoMo.

I feel like there are a lot of interesting bats on the waiver wire right now for some reason, but I agree with probably eaton being the most intruiging. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
