Roto or h2h? If it's h2h and you are not in danger of missing the playoffs, then I would stay put. But typical rules tend to not apply in leagues where nobody is active - fewer eyes tracking his progress means a better chance you can re-roster him if he does sort out his stuff. It's interesting when you compare the numbers for the past two months of the three pitchers you mention:
11 GS, 1.19 WHIP, 8.7 K/9, 3.2 BB/9, 0.87 HR/9
11 GS, 1.17 WHIP, 4.9 K/9, 1.8 BB/9, 1.37 HR/9
11 GS, 0.92 WHIP, 5.1 K/9, 1.7 BB/9, 0.72 HR/9
The first is Cain, second is Lohse, last is Leake, and ERAs are 5.08, 3.43, and 1.79 respectively for that stretch. Both of the guys you are talking about adding have miniscule K/9 rates, but I'd go with Leake of the two if that doesn't really matter to you.
