I need to vent Trades

I always find that people let my trades sit when they aren't interested in case their player gets injured.

I recently pulled 2 offers because my league says the managers have been active since I offered the deal.

Earlier in the year this manager let my deal sit & accepted when Austin Jackson was placed on the DL.

Luckily I only gave up Melky & Jansen.

I feel like when a manger views a trade that they should be forced to click accept or deny on the spot to avoid this from happening.

So basically if they close the window the trade offer is gone.

Yikes. Did you happen to appeal to the other managers/commish after that Jackson deal was accepted? Obviously that is complete bush league.

Agreed that it's a real bummer when people simply ignore trade offers. I've certainly wanted to take a few days to mull things over or consider other options, but I always make a habit of rejecting the deal with a note that I'll get back to the manager about it.

Yes. Not sure how many active managers there were at that point.

Only 4 now.

I ended up dumping Austin Jackson.

And some other dude picked him up.

My rule is that I accept or reject a deal within 20 minutes of seeing it.

I was in 11th place when I made that deal. Now I am in 1st by 10.5pts. 

Makes me want to believe in karma.

My response here is the same thing I tell the members of my leagues.  DO NOT use the propose a trade screens to actually propose trades!  Also, as commish I would have nixed this deal as that is some scummy move by the other manager.

Thanks for the good idea, but it doesn't work for those that link a junk email they don't check to their account.

That certainly makes it harder.  Without direct avenues of communication, I personally wouldn't get many deals done.

Luckily I doubt you are playing for real money with strangers. :)
