Keeper trade -- opinions

Hello I am in a 12 team H2H  7x7 (the extra 2 cats are H & OBP for offense & Holds & QS for pitching)

My keepers were Price, Beltre, & Cutch

I traded Price& my 15 & 16 round picks to someone for Ian Kinsler & their 3rd & 7th round picks

Any opinions on who won that deal? I think I did given a got a top 2B PLUS upgraded my 15 &16th into a 3rd & 7th

Normally I like trading pitchers for hitting. But I am not a Kinsler fan. but the 2 pick upgrades were great. I think u won this trade unless u blow the 2 pick upgrades.

Price is elite, there's no question about it. Kinsler can be elite, but he's got to stay healthy and get that OBP back in the .350+ range. The draft pick upgrades make it worth your while to find out if he can.

Considering my keepers are now all hitters -- is taking a pitcher like Cain or Cliff Lee a smart move with my first pick which is 10th overall? 

I'm targeting either Cain, Upton, or Cliff Lee for first round --- then targeting either Bumgarner, Butler, or Gio Gonzalez with my second round pick -- 

My first five picks are:  10th overall(1st) -- 15th overall(2nd) -- 29th overall(3rd) --- 34th overall(3rd) -- 39th overall(4th)

Those numbers are +36 because of keepers, right? So 46, 51, 65, 70, 75. Cain and Lee are both money, I'd be happy with either as your SP1 at 46 overall.

And I suppose it should be said that the Cain/Bumgarner types get an edge in the context of keeper.
