2014 Season

Hey guys, I know we're in the heart of the basketball season now, but I was just curious when you guys start focusing on the upcoming baseball season.  A few of my leagues are starting to get the ball rolling soon, so I'm starting some of my preparation along with keeper selections.  Just curious if there's an approximate date when you guys start focusing on baseball.  I assume it's closer to March?

I am new to this site and just found it. I was wondering if some of the veterans could help me understand what the site offers. How are the yearly projections for drafting? How about weekly for lineup changes? I need help finishing the season because I always seem to be in first by mid point and then fade pretty dramatically. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Great site, my only complaint is I wish it was more year round.  Many of us play in keeper leagues, that have already forced us to name our keepers, or are currently going through Free Agency and drafts, but no activity on this site at all.  But as far as the product during the season, great stuff for those in non point based leagues for sure.

It's awfully late to be discussing plans. Keepers need to be declared before 31 Jan. I was hoping for full bore projections by now.

We launched at the beginning of March last season and will likely be working with a similar timetable this season.

You could import your own projections. Use Steamer. 

So much left to shake out, a lot of players still haven't found teams, a lot of roles up in the air. I think it's understandable to wait until early March. Most people don't draft till late March.

Excited for the new season and to see the projections.

Unfortunate to hear some others could use projections now.  Personally won't need until March.  I find the projections on here so well thought out, that I understand the desire to wait until March to finalize and put them forward... plus I get to enjoy the awesome coverage in basketball for my leagues in the meantime.

We don't support importing projections for the upcoming season yet. The format should remain the same as last year however if you want to get a CSV file ready.

Gentlemen,  I'm looking for a site that will set up auction values for catagories other than the standard 5x5 or 6x6 or ??   Our league has been in existence for about 17 years.  Our categories now are: ave, runs, rbi, ob plus slugging , and 2x .stolen basis minus caught.  For pitching we use 2x wins minus losses, saves, era, whip,  holds, k/9   Can or does baseball monster provide stats for custom categories ?  We presently use CBS sportsline.  They provide stats for our categories  but it appears they do not provide projections for our categories.  Any help ??   Thanks

You'll find all those scoring categories available among our League Settings options, meaning we provide projections and rankings for them

the draft tracker is no longer automatic?

The Draft Tracker still syncs with Yahoo! and CBS.  You just need to request an update for them.  Is that not working for you?

One thing I noticed is that when I set the league positions for Yahoo, the projections are not showing multiple position eligibility for (as far as I can tell just) Catchers.  For example, Buster Posey and Carlos Santana are eligible in Yahoo for C/1B but only show as being eligible for C.

I noticed that the Yahoo O-rank option is populating the 2013 actual rank rather than the 2014 O-rank. Just wanted to let you guys know. Thanks
