13 team 6x6 keeper Roto league with QS and OPS.  To keep a player you have to give up the round before you selected that player the previous year.  I was 4th on the list for draft slot selection.  Slots 1, 2, and 6 are currently taken.  I was thinking after Trout/Miggy there are a bunch of guys kind of on the same level.  Picking 12 out of 13 would give me 2 very solid players and also give me that flexibility knowing what the guy after me needs.  I guess I have similar flexibility at 3 as well.  Any preference this year?  Chris Davis is the only early rounder being kept.  So one of Goldy/McCutchen would be available at 3 or even 4.  Thanks

Tough one. I'd love to draft any one of Goldschmidt(!), McCutchen, Kershaw in these settings, so that pick 5 would set you up to take whoever is left of that trio. But go closer to the turn and you could end up with something like Votto/Tulo and there would not be complaints. My lean is to that top talent, though, so I'd grab the earlier pick.

I agree, would target 5.  I'd love for Kershaw to fall to me there -- grabbed him at 5 last year and I think he defied the critics that said to wait on pitchers.

And if you like a batter there, i also think it's worth getting the top talent.  Goldschmidt could be worth pick 3.  But see what you think... If you really think there's little fall-off from 5 to 12, and projections prove that out, by all means take the end of the order

Seeing your offense from the other thread, I'd pick 3rd and draft Goldschmidt.
