Looks like the top of the draft is tough this year. Per game 5x5 projections put guys like CarGo, Encarnacion, and Tulo ahead of Davis and Goldschmidt, surprising to me. But injury prone nature means that total value looks very different. How to take that into account? There's situations like this throughout the draft (e.g. Ortiz, HanRam, etc.). Does anyone have a tool or other way to take both per game and total game values into account, as it seems both are important, other than just eyeballing it? I suppose you could use replacement players or some other analysis, though I don't think there's anything automated in BBM. 0% Agree (0 votes) |
