Anyone want to start up dynasty/keeper league? I think it would be interesting to get a group of people using baseball monster together in one league.

Propose a 12 team H2H league (probably Yahoo!). No buy in, just a full league of people that will pay attention to their team. Open to rule/category suggestions.

I'm kinda interested in a keeper league.  I haven't ever tired it and I'm not sure I have hit my fantasy saturation level yet for baseball, but the part about everyone on BBM I don't like.  I understand needing people to join but if all are here there is a loss of a competitive advantage that I already have enjoyed (for a price), unless you really like a challenge.  Why not open a public league on Yahoo! (for example) and only have a post here?  When you get one just paste the invitation link.  What kind of league and what type of scoring?  

Personally I like points based SABR H2H (and want to try auction with FAAB waivers) but am possibly open to other scoring. Examples of these leagues:

I figure most of us are already employing the competitive advantage somewhere, so it might be interesting to have a level(ish) playing field. I'm fine with roto if that will get more people playing (though I'm generally miserable at that format).

I imagine recruiting from Baseball Monster rather than opening it up to completely random folks are that people would be more likely to stay involved year-to-year.

I would propose something like 10 keepers, with rosters consisting of: C/1B/2B/SS/3B/IF/OF/OF/OF/OF/UTL/UTL;  2 SP/2 RP/ 3 P; and 5 BN (possibly an NA slot). Thoughts?

I'd rather just recruit from here or people we know personally if possible. You don't want to get stuck with quitters in a keeper league. 

We could just go ahead and set up a private Yahoo league with the latest draft date possible (at a generally acceptable draft time) and continue to recruit through here. 

My only real preference is Roto over H2H, but H2H isn't a dealbreaker. Fine with any other league settings, but 10 keepers seems like it might be a bit too many. Don't feel too strongly about that, though.

i haven't played h2h in many years, but i'd be open to either.  i also think it'd be fun to play with others from here, both for sense of community and because it's been too easy beating others.

i haven't yet played keeper league but would also prefer less keepers, maybe 4-6.

Its set up as 12 team roto league. Draft scheduled for Sunday March 30th at 7:30 pacific/ 10:30 eastern. Right now I have the categories set as OBP/R/HR/RBI/SB x QS/SV/K/ERA/WHIP.

Lets say 6 keepers, each player bumps up a round the following year.

The time is good for me otherwise, just not the day. I'll be back home on 4/2. I was actually thinking we could even push the draft a bit into the season to give us more time to recruit.

I'm fine moving the draft back a bit. We can set it to retroactively apply stats from the games that have been played (or not). If anyone has roster suggestions, stat category additions or subtractions I'm happy to listen to ideas.

Stats and settings seem fine to me. I'm definitely in for a draft on Sunday 4/6 or even 4/13 at the same time. The first week or two of stats shouldn't really change that many draft positions, and even if it does, it's common information so no one is at a disadvantage.

Settings all seem fine to me.
