Batter vs. Pitcher matchups.

I just tried to post this and something weird happened, so forgive me if you get a double post.

I was messing around with the daily projections and saw that Ortiz was projected as the hitter to score the most points on fanduel tomorrow. However, when I checked his history vs. Tillman, it said he is only 1 for 16 lifetime against Till. I just wanted to know if past matchup data is factored in at all or if that was even possible considering there would be no matchup data in some instances and too small of a sample other times. Just wanted to see what you guys had to say.

We do matchup adjustments based on L/R and strength of opposing pitcher, but we don't factor in exact hitter vs. pitcher data. For most players, there isn't enough data, but we are looking into getting that data for display purposes.
