Is it possible to add an Export to CSV option to Daily Projections like Basketbal Monster has?

Along with this.........is it possible to get 1 file with both hitters and pitchers in it?

Yes, we'll work on getting a fixed-format CSV file. A single file with hitters and pitchers would be pretty big. How is this better than two files?

kslight - Less buttons to click for my cutting and pasting.  It's not a big deal if it doesn't / can't happen.  Ideally I would create a macro to auto import them into my excel documents, but the excel web query will not let me change the hitters to the pitchers.

Two files makes more sense to me since it is different data, but either would be helpful.  Thank you!

It's not at the top yet, but we'll make sure it's ready by next weekend at the latest.

This is on our test site if you want to give it a look: http://preview1.baseballmonster.com/default.aspx

And pitchers:

Looks good to me, only one suggestion I would like.

You have positions listed as one column for each sites position, so DD would be 1B/OF. I personally would like to have site with two positions split into two columns so it would be 1B, OF instead. I realize this might create issues where someone only has one position, but you could either leave this blank, repeat their position one, or something else.

Currently, the comma delimits the columns so if we use a comma to separate positions, that will cause there to be too many columns if a player has multiple positions. To avoid this, we use a semicolon to separate positions for players if there's more than one. Does this work?

Actually, another comment on this. Could you add the matchup field to the CSV?

I like to use it to see opponent pitcher, bat L/R, opp pitch L/R etc

It looks like the player csv doesn't have runs and RBIs unless I'm misreading the headings.  Would it be possible to add them?

Added runs, RBIs, and matchup. We'll aim to stabilize this format soon since we know many rely on it not changing.

Starting to work with the CSV file, think it has a lot of promise. I'd also like to see weather, injury, odds, and BvP data added to it. Basically, everything I can see in the excel export, i'd like to be able to see on the CSV export

Can you take a look at our test site to see if it contains what you need. Before deploying, we want to make sure the format is not likely to change again. Thanks

came across an issue on the preview site. When I unselect games, they still show up in the CSV. for instance, today i want to exclude teh two early games, but they still appear in the csv after i uncheck them.

Yes, currently, the export includes all games, and most of the page filters are not applied (in an effort to create a consistent format). Using the game filter does seem reasonable since it won't affect the format so we'll look into applying that.
