I'm trying to win now, while also maximizing value. I got offered Kipnis, Victorino, and Tim Hudson for Cano and my worst player of my choosing. We count OPS and holds and this is a 20 team H2H dynasty league. I can also sub out Carlos Gomez or De Aza in for Victorino if I'd like. My team, after a few trades, mashes the ball with a low AVG, but I could definitely use some steals. Victorino just seems to fit my overall team better than Gomez.

My current starting RF is Rajai Davis (don't ask) and Victorino who I don't like as much in a dynasty league over Carlos Gomez should get RF eligibility quickly. I could definitely use another SP with some nice stats as well, but Hudson has one maybe two good years left in him, so I'm not sure dealing for him is such a great idea. Just noticed Delmon Young will play RF when he actually plays.

My current roster:

  Player Name
C Alex Avila
1B Albert Pujols
2B Robinson Cano
3B Pedro Alvarez
SS Hiroyuki Nakajima
LF Josh Willingham
CF Jacoby Ellsbury
RF Rajai Davis
UTIL Mark Reynolds
UTIL Adam Dunn
UTIL Delmon Young

Bench Franklin Gutierrez
Bench Stephen Drew
Bench Devin Mesoraco
Bench

Nate McLouth

  Player Name
SP Jered Weaver
SP Jeff Samardzija
RP Rafael Betancourt
RP John Axford
P Jon Lester
P Homer Bailey
P Ryan Cook
P Jonny Venters

Bench Michael Pineda

I would keep Canoe. Kipnis does not seem to be a high end long term option. Hudson and Victorino are also older and injury prone. Ur WW must be awful if Franklin Gutierrez and his 235 BA is on ur bench. Stephen Drew u should prolly wait on but concussions is a scary business. I would hold out on ur trade until he gives u a more upside player along with Kipnis who projects as a long term serviceable player.

The wire of course will be terrible in a 20x24 league.. Trading away Cano in a dynasty league is not fun, I'd be looking for a headliner more than mid-level depth. What about punting steals?

There's a decent amount of really crappy team so winning SB somes weeks with just one mediocre guy (Ellsbury) is doable, but getting one more guy would help. Ideally a better pitcher would possibly help me out better, but I like dealing. Hahaha. Technically speaking I was just looking for a RF and this deal came up. I wouldn't mind moving Cano before he gets too old, or before his suspended for 50 games :)  Just a reference I drafted Puig 10th overall out of 20 and then dealt him straight up for Ellsbury this preseason and Pedroia was also dealt for Mike Olt and Francisco Lindor. So hanging onto older players is a death trap in this league.

I like all of the OFs he has available and clearly Peavy and Sabathia are players I'd be interested in. Corey Hart would be nice too. Any thoughts or suggestions?

His Roster is:

Mauer
Ryan Howard
Kipnis
Zimmerman
Jeter
Holliday
Victorino
Cuddyer
Gomez
De Aza
Morneau
Corey Hart
Fernando Matinez
Nick Franklin

Sabathia
Peavy
Gregerson
Matusz
Hudson
Hughes
Cobb
Ervin Santana
Kevin Gausman
Derek Holland
Chris Tillman

I would keep Cano also. I like Gomez better than Victorino.
