How do you do ROS custom projections with Errors.

I’m thinking about importing some custom rest of season projections. Is there any reason why ROS projections wouldn’t work in BM? Also, my league uses errors as a category. You project errors but my source for the custom ROS projections does not. Is there a way I can somehow match your ROS Error projections with my custom ROS offensive projections? If so, how?

Currently, we do not support errors for the custom import, but we will be updating in to include errors and also prorating the stats to match rest of season. I would expect this to be ready next week.

Awesome (as usual)! On the "prorating the stats to match rest of season" comment... I think what I need is the ability to custom upload rest of season stats and have BM prorate these as the season goes on. That means I would have to give BM a date to base the proration on. I hope that's what you were thinking.

Also, can this custom ROS upload be used in combination with the Monster Factors for daily projections and thus the H2H Daily tool?

Currently, the custom projections require a # of games, but obviously updating the # of games each day is painful. We want to convert the imported stats to per-game values, and then use our projected # of games to create the rest of season projections. Once this is working, it will work for H2H daily and Weekly Projections too. Is this what you had in mind?

Great news on the pipeline kslight.  That would help alot if we can use an universal projection.

Ken,

Ideally I would like to import Steamer ROS projections from the Razzball site (pitchers and hitters). Again, I like your projections but I’d also like something to compare to when I am making major decisions and the Razzball version of Steamer projections might be the next best to yours.   They do project games but they do not give me Player ID. I guess I can use excel to parse their player names into first and last name. I hope your systems import process will match 99% with that info.

You said you want to “use our projected # of games to create the rest of season projections.” Can I have the option of using my imported data directly for the ROS projections (instead of BM calculating it from your # of games) and then use the imported # of games to calculate info for Daily, H2H Daily and Weekly Projections AFTER Monster Factors?

This is important, and I'll have it ready mid to late next week. Sorry for the delay.
