I'm stashing baez and just looking for someone who wont kill my avg/on base. The stl's should be similar i'd imagine. What do you guys think? The rest of my team is solid SS is my weak link right now.

Both players are going to be bad for your AVG/OBP, so Alcides is at least the lesser of two evils while he's hitting a bit. Can you make a low-level trade for anything better?

I drafted mauer and just picked up mesoraco. I've thought about trying to deal Mauer for a SS and just roll w/ Devin. Thoughts on that, do you guys think mesoraco is legit?

Mauer can be huge for the OBP category, so it would depend on what you can get. Mesoraco should be solid and may be good trade bait for a team that needs help at the position while he's white-hot.
