Hi Guys! I am brand new to the site but have been in DFS for a little over a year. I was trying out the daily projections for Fanduel and something seems a bit off.

You guys have all the right handed bats of the Pirates as the top rated options against a very tough Lefty in Cingrani for Cincinnati. They have no real BVP statistics, so I am wondering how you guys came to those projections? Any insights on this?

Granted, I am a Reds fan, but his seems unlikely to have the Pirates go off in such a widespread way.. This question is on early games only. Just wondering what changes your ratings day by day..

Thanks and I love the site so far!

Rodney

Hello Rodney. For McCutchen and Marte, they get a boost since they're so good vs. lefties today. It looks like the whole PIT lineup is righties today except Alvarez who's pretty low today.

After watching Marte's first AB today, you may have a point. He stood there as Cingrani struck him out in four quick pitches cry

Yep...Cingrani mowed em down. Something just felt off about that projection yesterday. I guess that is why we have to use the site as a guide and still listen to our intuition sometimes. Still, the site is a fantastic tool. If nothing else, it organizes my research so easily. Thanks for a wonderful place to enjoy DFS even more!
