Pulled off a trade using BBM values to good effect in each of my Yahoo pro leagues, 5x5 12 team roto. trade 1: Shelby Miller and Matsuzaka for his Anibal Sanchez.
Was looking aggressively to move Miller before his elevated BB/9 catches up with him, and Matsuzaka had just picked up a save. Per game, -0.13 miller for 0.38 Sanchez. Of course Sanchez immediately hits DL, but should be short stint. trade 2: Torii Hunter and Dan Haren for his Jayson Werth and Jim Johnson.
I noticed that Werth's per game projection now at 0.44, who knew he could be so valuable. I needed to move a SP, had scooped up Burnett and Kluber off the wire but that gave me a glut of pitching. Johnson a throw in but he could get his job back it seems, and in need of closers... $1 each on valverde and Veras didn't get me far. So no game changers, but very positive and building block moves that BBM gave me the confidence to make (and the tools to propose 30 others that were rejected). Thanks!
