Are the wins/loss category projections more based on the team a pitcher plays for than the skill of the pitcher alone? I would expect it to be but who knows...

I know they are correlated, but it is a pretty hard problem to predict and entire MLB season I think.

Also, how do I use the draft tracker for mock drafts? I clicked to grant yahoo access but it does nothing.

It's part skill, part team. It is an inexact science predicting wins, without question. That is why I am in the camp that all but ignores expected wins when targeting starting pitchers. Obviously the top pitchers on the top teams have some better chances than others, but then every once in a while you get what happened to Cliff Lee last season.

As for the Draft Tracker, the functionality is the same for mock/real drafts. What exactly do you mean when you say "it does nothing"?

I click the grant access.... but it never removes selected players from the list etc. I have no indication that it is getting the mock draft data.

After granting access, are you are entering the correct ID number in the box and clicking "Open Draft"?

That box never pops up... I click grant access... then agree. THen it goes back to the tracker but doesn't have that input box. Just the grant access again.

It may be a cache issue with your broswer? I see the box when I check your account.

I found the problem. I wasn't in any actual yahoo leagues yet, I was just trying to use the tracker for a mock.

I created a quick fake league on yahoo and everything works now.

Ah yes, you do have to have some kind of settings entered to conduct a mock/draft. Glad you got it settled.
